Aishwarya is a highly motivated and driven individual with a simplistic approach towards work. She is always looking for ways to simplify and improve every task at hand, which has been significantly put to test in her current role as the Buying Manager for Confectionery and Souvenirs at Delhi Duty Free Services. With over 4.7 years of experience in the retail industry, Aishwarya has a strong background in category management, vendor management, and supplier improvement. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Category Manager - Snacks & Confectionery at LOTS Wholesale Solutions, where she managed the snacks category within FMCG food division with a portfolio value of ~ INR 20 million. She was responsible for developing and onboarding new vendors, negotiating the best terms of trade, and optimizing working capital by managing inventory. Aishwarya has also been a part of the Future Leaders Development Program, the flagship leadership program of Thailand's largest private conglomerate CP Group. During the program, she worked on real business problems in several businesses of the group, including the Retail Business and Quick Service Restaurant Business, and developed a feasible and sustainable delivery model for the Makro Wholesale Retail Business, achieving delivery sales of more than 150,000 THB within one month. Aishwarya completed her MBA from DMS, IIT Delhi in 2018 with a major in Marketing and Minor in Strategy. As a part of her internship during the same, she had an opportunity to work in the Purchase and Planning function at LAVA International Ltd, where she gained insights into supplier management and supplier improvement along all verticals of the Purchase department. Aishwarya's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a High School degree from Delhi Public School. She is skilled in research, mobile technology, and has a strong understanding of the retail industry. With her experience and expertise, Aishwarya is a valuable asset to any organization she works with.
