Ajay Singh Chandel is an experienced Senior Software Engineer at Cisco with over 9 years of experience in the software development lifecycle. He has a strong background in Java development and has participated in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for various clients. Currently, Ajay is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, where he is designing and developing Monitoring and Troubleshooting (MnT) feature. He is also acting as Tech-lead for a scrum of 5 members. Ajay is playing a critical role in maintaining a low number for Customer Found Defects (CFD's) and Customer cases. He is leading engagement with the Escalation team to reduce active customer cases, which helped in reducing month by month active cases from double digits to single digits within a few weeks. In the past, Ajay has worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco, where he led a team of 6 people to automate E2E baseline UseCases. He also developed a framework for automating windows GUI to achieve user authentication via windows endpoint. Ajay has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur. He also completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Ajay's technical skills include Software Engineering, Java, test, qa, Javascript, Spring, and Jenkins.
