Ajay Bhave is a seasoned technology leader with over 23 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he serves as the VP of Engineering and Site Lead at Nightfall India, where he is building teams from the ground up and actively seeking strong engineers who can independently own and lead key new products for Nightfall. He is passionate about solving problems at the intersection of cloud-scale services/data stores and cutting-edge ML & data classification. Prior to Nightfall, Ajay led teams in Flipkart Cloud Platform group, where he owned the stack for provisioning compute (VMs, containers) and network (VPC, ELB) for applications running on Flipkart Cloud Platform. He also led multiple initiatives at Rubrik India, including delivering an optimized capability to continually convert VMs to various clouds (AWS & Azure) and simplifying cloud account management in Polaris (Rubrik's SaaS). Ajay is well-versed in AWS, Azure, and Oracle Clouds and has extensive knowledge of big data cluster management and Hadoop. Ajay is a visionary leader who can define multi-year roadmaps for product and engineering and design robust customer-focused solutions. He has led multiple teams of high-performing engineers and managers and has a deep understanding of the Windows platform and its internals. Ajay holds an MTech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay and a BE in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. He also completed his high school education from Lucknow Army Public School and middle school education from Army School, Secunderabad. Ajay's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, AWS, Azure, ML, AI, Big Data, and Hadoop.
