Ajay Chamoli is an accomplished Automation Engineer with experience in AI & Robotics. He is currently working at Rebel Foods, where he is responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions for the company's products. With a background in Electrical Engineering and Control Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, Ajay has a strong foundation in the technical aspects of his work. Prior to his current role, Ajay worked as a Robotics Intern at TCS, where he developed a SLAM pipeline to learn grid maps for robot navigation using ROS. He also generated a 2D occupancy map in Gazebo based on Rao-Blackwellized particle filer and sensor fusion. Ajay successfully decreased the cost of manufacturing by substituting LIDAR with an ultrasonic sensor model. He also worked as an Embedded Developer Intern at Intuigine Technologies, where he conceptualized and developed a prototype for a new wireless handheld device for 3D gaming based on gesture recognition. Ajay improved the 3D motion feedback of Nimble (gesture recognition device) by including triple-axis accelerometer and gyroscope feedback. Ajay's technical skills include AI and product management. He has relevant experience of 2.69 years. Ajay holds an Integrated B.Tech (Honours) in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Control Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
