Ajay Dayma is a final year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is an enthusiastic and curious learner with a passion for software development and machine learning. In addition to his academic pursuits, Ajay is actively involved in social work. He is a member of CRY (Child Rights and You) IIT Roorkee, where he mentors underprivileged children in slum areas and works for child rights. He has organized various events, including child sexual abuse sessions in schools, health camps in nearby villages, and the promotion of the 1098 campaign in the city area. He has also coordinated the TechSkill event in CogniZance '19. Ajay is not just a programmer but also a sports enthusiast, being a part of the Taekwondo Team IITR and holding a Green-1 belt. He has worked on various projects, including Cleaning and Mopping Robot, Obstacle Avoiding Robot using Arduino, Raspberry Pi project, and MNIST Handwritten Digit Classifier. He is proficient in Java, C, C++, R, and Python, and has a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basics of JS, PHP, SQL, and XML. Ajay is currently completing online courses in Machine Learning and Deep Learning by Andrew Ng and the basics of Ethical Hacking by Zaid Sabih. Ajay is a skilled problem solver who can work well under pressure and deliver results in any condition. He has 2.28 years of relevant experience and is currently working as a Software Engineer (SDE-1) at Chegg. He previously worked as an SDE intern at Chegg and held a Green-1 belt in Taekwondo. Overall, Ajay is an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a great learning attitude and a passion for making a difference in the world.
