Ajay Gupta is a highly experienced and well-diversified Principal Software Architect with over 26 years of experience in the industry. He has expertise in developing and designing web-based and distributed object-oriented software solutions. He holds several certifications including Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer, Sun Certified Java Programmer, IBM Certified Websphere Enterprise Architect, and IBM Certified Associate Developer. Currently, Ajay is working as a Principal Solutions Architect at Cox Automotive Inc. where he is responsible for designing and delivering innovative solutions for the company. In his previous role as Technical Staff at Secureworks, he collaborated with engineering software architects to create a cloud migration strategy for the Secureworks MSS platform to public cloud. He also led the team to develop a Secureworks mobile app using hybrid architecture approach using Angular and Ionic. He has extensive experience in collaborating with multiple teams across the globe to help make architectural enhancements for critical business use cases in Secureworks Client Portal. Ajay has also worked as a Principal Enterprise Architect at Lennox International, where he collaborated with Lennox business customers and IT Senior Leadership to help define the roadmap for the new B2B Platform. He has mentored development, infrastructure, and QA teams in learning new technologies through lunch and learn sessions, pair programming, and training recommendations. He has also led the Mobile Steering Committee, a cross-functional team consisting of all the business representatives and IT Senior Leadership to help align IT with business and further evolve mobile strategy. Ajay has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also has experience in working with a variety of technologies including AWS, Kafka, Search, Docker, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Spring Boot, Spring, iOS, Android, Microservices, Big Data, AngularJS, and more.
