Ajay Mall is a seasoned technology evangelist with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He has expertise in Telecom (LI/VAS), Finance (Trading/Banking), Core Networking, and Data Visualization domains. Ajay has a proven track record of delivering scalable and optimized end-to-end solutions that include Pre-Sale, Product Usability, Architecture & Design, and Development using Big Data & Analytics Stack, AWS as Serverless, JBoss Fuse as SOA, and Java, Python, Scala, C/C++ as programming languages on Linux/Unix-based platforms. Currently, Ajay is the Director at Scalable Datatech, a niche big data, data science, and visualization firm. Some of their clients include HDFC, UPL, Intelenet Global Services, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, and Mashreq Bank. They are also a cloud partner for top BFSI companies and partners of AWS, Cloudera, and IBM. Ajay is leading a team of IITs and IISC alumni, who have been contributing to the open-source components of the Hadoop ecosystem for a while. They have offices in Singapore and Pune (India) and are looking to expand their presence in the region. In the past, Ajay has worked as a Promoter at Scalable Datatech and as an Enterprise Architect at Aviso AI. At Aviso AI, he was responsible for product design and architecture, end-to-end optimized solutioning on the engineering platform, and enabling the data science team to build DS and AI features for clients. He has experience working with MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search, Python, Django, and AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda). Ajay is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, where he completed his Masters in IT in 2006. He also has a B.Tech. in CSE from UPTU, which he completed in 2004.
