Ajay Nair is a hands-on technical leader with over 16 years of experience in building and leading strong teams from scratch, as well as developing cloud-based distributed systems. He is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Grapheme Labs, a company that specializes in products for increasing productivity in long-text analysis workflows, specifically for the IP or patents domain. Ajay has extensive experience in various web and backend technologies, using the J2EE stack, Python, Kotlin, Node.js, and Angular. He has also developed recommendation engines for news articles using Python and AI ML classifiers, and has used BERT for NLP. Prior to his current role, Ajay has worked as a Principal Engineer at Indepay, and as the Chief Technology Officer at Tuningbill Limited, where he worked on fintech-oriented microservices, OCR, computer vision, and blockchain. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
