Ajay Patel is a final year software engineering student at McGill University with a strong background in DevOps, Jenkins, AngularJS, CI/CD, Spring, Azure, integration, web, PHP, MySQL, frontend, backend, NodeJS, and Java. He has over 5 years of relevant experience in the field, having worked as a DevOps Engineer at SAP and a Full Stack Developer at Ecosystemie. Currently, Ajay works as a Private Tutor at Prep Academy Tutors of Montreal, where he offers private tutoring lessons in mathematics, general sciences, physics, chemistry, and programming up to and including the university level. He is passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. During his time at SAP, Ajay worked on the iOps internal tool using Java Spring, Angular, and PostgreSQL for development, and Jenkins and Microsoft Azure for deployment. He created a Jenkins deployment script to enable continuous integration and deployment for the iOps staging environment and maintained CX BI, a customer information management application created using Angular and NodeJs. Additionally, Ajay created a deployment manifest generator allowing automated deployment of customer packages to 5 SAP data centers across the world. At Ecosystemie, Ajay planned and created a LAMP stack application with a PHP backend, React frontend, and MySQL database, which allowed companies to calculate their greenhouse gas emissions by submitting their waste products. He also partook in the training process of prospective developers. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from McGill University and has completed studies in Health Sciences at Marianopolis College. With his strong technical skills and passion for teaching, Ajay is poised to make a significant impact in the software engineering industry.
