Ajay Sharma is a seasoned product expert with over 18 years of experience in software product development, testing, and management. He has a proven track record in product growth and strategic planning, cross-functional team leadership, and vendor management. Ajay is currently the Country Head for India and Director of Software Engineering at Infinite Blue, where he manages operations for the India development center with a focus on finance, resources, compliance, and vendor management. He leads and grows a product engineering team and is accountable for engineering execution and efficiency, ensuring all engineering work meets requirements, quality, budget, and timelines. Ajay has extensive experience in managing multiple product deliveries, taking ownership of end-to-end testing and regression of releases. He has designed and developed multiple automation frameworks for complex products capable of testing products on multiple languages and configurations. Ajay is also experienced in managing automation teams across geography and has worked as an offsite automation project coordinator for UI and performance test teams. Prior to joining Infinite Blue, Ajay served as Senior Manager of Engineering at InfiniteBlue Platform, where he was responsible for the product engineering group, including QA, product support, and product documentation. He worked closely on product strategy and roadmap with higher management, defined the product development engineering process across teams in the US and India, and managed QA automation for high-quality releases. Ajay also served as a Product Manager at Progress, where he defined product strategy, business model, and product roadmap, managed product delivery by working with engineering, DevOps, and documentation, and partnered with engineering and design teams to ideate, prioritize, and deliver great solutions for customers and professionals. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from RGPV. He is skilled in test, senior software engineering, product management, QA, UI, DevOps, research science, and web technologies. Ajay is a collaborative leader who brings ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation, and more to help the team become a high-performance team.
