Ajay Srivastava is a highly experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Currently working at Facebook, Ajay is a key member of the FRL Research team, where he is focused on developing Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Ajay is an expert in his field and has a deep understanding of the latest trends and techniques in software engineering, research, and development. Prior to joining Facebook, Ajay worked as an Embedded Software Architect at Romeo Power Technology, where he was responsible for developing Automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS). He also worked as a Research Intern at Winlab, where he developed an algorithm that uses a single camera in a moving vehicle to generate crowd-sourced traffic information, which can be used in the next generation of vehicles. In this role, he utilized machine learning and computer vision techniques to estimate relative speeds of cars and levels of service. Ajay completed his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2016. Throughout his education and career, he has developed a strong tech stack, which includes skills in Software Engineering, Research Science, Senior Software Engineering, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
