Ajay Sudhanshu is a highly experienced Director in Trading Tech at BlackRock with over 26 years of relevant experience. He has a strong background in IT planning, product strategy roadmap, staffing, work plans, risk mitigation, budgeting, and forecasting. Ajay has worked for Goldman Sachs in various leadership roles, including Vice President Senior Engineer Data Architecture, Vice President, Global Head of Financing Group Technology, Global Head – Financing Group (Equity & Debt Capital Markets) Technology, Global Head – Equity Capital Markets Technology, Global Head – New Issue Bank Loan Technology, and Senior Analyst Developer – Debt Capital Markets Technology. He has led the Financing Group Technology globally, owning and being accountable for the platforms for client engagement, deal execution, risk management, financial analytics, and regulatory reporting. Ajay has made significant contributions to the Investment Banking business by building the Bank Loan booking, marking & daily PnL processes and applications. He has also designed and developed a native iOS application for the ECM clients, providing real-time demand overview, interactive analytics, and secure offline mode, which won the best use of IT in Investment Banking in EMEA. He has led the build of a Tableau Dashboard and a client-facing website to provide descriptive and prescriptive models to the new issue clients.
