Ajay Vijayvargiya is a versatile software development professional with over 16 years of experience in various domains such as e-commerce, mobile products, infotainment devices, and RF/microwave radar satellite payloads. Currently, he is leading the India Accounting Software Development Team for Amazon India, responsible for the development of software services for accounting and financial platforms. His experience includes leading software development initiatives for mobile products on multiple mobile platforms, various modules, and hands-on experience in software development and delivery for audio, camera, and other peripherals, board bring-up, app/framework development. He has thorough experience from planning to delivery of software for mobile products, technical interactions with chipset vendors, in addition to driving innovation for new product features. Ajay has experience in setting up new teams, hiring and grooming the engineers, and leaders within the team. He also has experience in multi-site product management, led a team of 30+ development engineers, team building, and mentoring. He has experience in project management, including scope definition, requirements, estimation, schedule, design, implementation, testing, and release. Prior to joining Amazon, he worked as a Group Engineering Manager at Samsung and as a Team Leader at Jasmin Infotech. At Jasmin Infotech, he worked on home entertainment and car infotainment products using Analog Devices DSPs for major customers in Japan and Europe. His work involved system design, integration, hardware diagnostics, and coding. He has also written drivers for audio/video codec ICs, I2C, SPI drivers, and developed a Mux-demux library for recording and playback. Ajay holds an M.Tech degree from IISC and a B.E. degree in Electronics & Communication from MANIT. His tech stack includes software engineering, mobile, integration, testing, product management, and senior software engineering.
