Ajaykumar Kakkanattu is a Process Safety and Risk Management professional with diverse industry experience. He is currently serving as a Principal Consultant at process safety & reliability group (psrg). With over 8 years of relevant experience, Ajay has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry and has gained expertise in various domains. In his current role, Ajay is responsible for providing process safety and risk management consulting services to clients. He is involved in plant operations, process design, technology consulting, and project management. Ajay has a proven track record of successfully collaborating with customers, vendors, and contractors from diverse backgrounds to achieve project goals. Prior to his current role, Ajay worked as a Technical Expert at Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Limited Liability Company. He provided technical support for operation and troubleshooting and played a crucial role in RFCC support on design evaluation in terms of safety and operability. Ajay also worked at Honeywell as a Process Safety and Risk Specialist, Project Manager, and Sr. Advanced Chemical Engineer. During his tenure, he supported various development projects and NPD initiatives and managed UOP's Process Safety Portfolio to cater to global clientele. Ajay has a strong educational background, having completed his PGDIB (MBA) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from IIFT in 2020. He also holds a Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) from the Board of Technical Education, Gujarat, India, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calicut. Additionally, Ajay has an Engineering Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the State Board of Technical Education, Kerala, India.
