Ajeet Jha is an experienced Engineer in Transmission Architecture with a strong background in designing and developing powertrain/drivetrain architecture for heavy-duty transmissions. He is currently working at Eaton Innovation Center as an Engineer in Transmission Architecture, where he provides energy-efficient solutions to manage electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power more efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Ajeet has over 9 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, including his previous role as an Assistant Manager in R&D at AVTEC Limited, where he was responsible for improving the design of a failed Proto and developing a 2-Stage helical Gearbox for heavy-duty vocational application in NAFTA market. He also executed the Design Verification Plan for Automatic Powershift Transmission, responsible for the structural analysis (Static, Vibration, Fatigue) of Transmission/Gearbox housings and powertrain sub-systems, and developed an analytical method for thermal rating of Gearbox to evaluate power losses, heat generation, heat dissipation, and selection of lubrication oil. Ajeet has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Systems Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Roorkee. He also has a background in Science from C M Sc College. Ajeet is skilled in test and quality assurance, and he is a Six Sigma GB certified professional.
