Ajinkya Ghadge is an upcoming Software Development Engineer at Intel with a background in Computer Science. He has a strong foundation in software engineering with experience in Python and Java. Ajinkya has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur, Sangli. Currently, Ajinkya is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course ECE 597/697 Machine Learning for Engineers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In this role, he is responsible for setting up Kaggle competitions and coding homework using Python, grading homework and projects, and holding weekly office hours to answer doubts on mail/Piazza. He has also previously worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course CSC250 Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science at Smith College, where he graded homework and exams for a batch of 48 students and assisted students using Slack for coursework and homework. Ajinkya has also worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, where he created a REST-ful web application for dataset generation for ~100 TB of raw Image and Infrared data using Python-Flask. He also spearheaded a comparison study of various embedded devices and machine learning architecture for low power consumption. Additionally, he wrote a C program to connect an FPGA using PCIe interface on Nvidia Jetson TX-2 platform using Memory mapping and used Python multithreading to improve the frame rate of inferencing.
