With a background in Mechanical Engineering and prior industrial experience in the Automotive and IT industries, Ajinkya is driven by the challenges offered by the autonomous mobility industry and is motivated towards attaining advanced competencies in the domains of Vehicle Perception, State Estimation, and Connected Vehicles for developing the smart mobility solutions of the future. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Omnibond Systems LLC, Ajinkya leverages his expertise in ML and research to develop and test software in loop and hardware in loop simulations for autonomous vehicle functionalities. Prior to this, he served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Student at CU-ICAR, where he assisted in research at the Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics Lab for developing and testing software in loop and hardware in loop simulations for autonomous vehicle functionalities. Ajinkya holds a Master of Science degree in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Symbiosis. He has a strong technical background in ML and has worked extensively as a Research Scientist. His tech stack includes ML, Research Scientist, and Test. With relevant experience of 5.43 years, Ajinkya is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about developing innovative solutions for the autonomous mobility industry.
