Ajinkya Sonawane is a passionate software engineer with over 2 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Building Blockchain Engineer Intern at Autodesk, where he is gaining hands-on experience in blockchain technology. Ajinkya's interest in software engineering started in middle school when he was motivated by the rise of Facebook. He learned HTML/CSS/JS and created simple web pages that could interact with the user. He pursued Computer Science as his major in High School, where he was introduced to various concepts like data structures, algorithms, compilers, debuggers, and languages like C++, Visual Basic, and Java. Ajinkya completed his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, where he developed several applications either as weekend projects or as assignments. He also developed several android applications. After being hired as a Software Developer at FinIQ Consulting India, he worked on C# .NET and VB .NET extensively while developing web-based screens and services. Currently, Ajinkya is pursuing his Master's in Computer Science at New York University. Alongside building new software programs, he is exploring Applied Data Science and Predictive Analytics through his coursework. He is also a Course Assistant at New York University, where he assists Prof. Thomas B. Reddington for CS-GY 6843 Computer Networking with the grading of homework, papers, laboratory reports, or examinations and the holding of office hours to respond to students' questions about such assignments. Ajinkya has a strong technical background and is proficient in languages like Python, C++, Java, Javascript, and C#. He has experience in blockchain, web development, software engineering, data science, and android development. Overall, Ajinkya is a motivated and enthusiastic software engineer who is passionate about exploring new technologies and concepts in the field of Computer Science.
