Ajit Karve is a highly skilled product development professional with over 15 years of experience in project and program management, business development, and pre-sales activities. He is a May 2018 Full-time MBA (Marketing) and MS in Business Analytics graduate from W. P. Carey School of Business (ASU). Currently, Ajit is the Director of Product Development at American Express, where he manages real estate and supplier management programs within Global Business Services. Ajit's experience in senior product management at Amazon.com has sharpened his skillset in product management and customer obsession. He has developed core capabilities required for a good product manager, including data analysis, qualitative analysis, customer interaction and feedback, hypothesis testing, developing product vision, metric development, measurement, influencing and persuasion skills, and most importantly, constant and obsessive focus on true customer needs and wants. As a Certified Scrum Master, Ajit has proved himself to be adept at leading the Agile transformation within an organization and help drive business units towards Agile adoption. He has also worked on business development initiatives, pre-sales activities, given client presentations, led innovative initiatives within the organization, and contributed to 'growth & delivery' strategy implementations.
