Akanksha Pandey is a skilled Software Development Engineer 2 at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with over 4.5 years of relevant experience in the field. With a background in Computer Science, she holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Galgotia University. Akanksha's current role at Oracle involves working for the Virtual Cloud Networking Dataplane (VCNDP) team, where she is responsible for the FlowLogs project for the release of vNext Flow Logs. She has made significant contributions to the design and implementation of the VTAP project, which included VxLAN support, IPV6 support, and Priority Mode implementation. Apart from this, she is also responsible for on-call operational support and deployments. Prior to Oracle, Akanksha worked as a Software Engineer 2 at Dell, where she worked for the PowerPath team under the Integrated Offerings Department. She was responsible for supporting various flavors of Linux, namely RHEL8.1, OL7, and OL8 UEK6 kernel. She also built a Loadable Array Module (LAM) in PowerPath for supporting Dell EMC PowerStore NVMe array. Akanksha has also completed a Technology Analyst Internship at Morgan Stanley, where she performed an extensive comparison of various data formats available like XML, JSON, Flatbuffers, Google Protocol Buffers, etc. She concluded a feasible option among them for the existing infrastructure of the organization and built a Proof-of-Concept for a Flatbuffer Router. Akanksha's technology stack primarily includes C, C++, Python, Protocol buffers, Linux kernel, and Git. She is a skilled Software Engineer and has experience working on infra-related projects.
