Akarsha Sehwag is a passionate and enthusiastic data scientist with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Steadforce, Akarsha specializes in computer vision and is involved in automating various industrial processes using camera video streams. Prior to this, she worked with Polytech where she generated useful insights from the fiber-optic sensor signals installed in wind-turbines. She also worked with Airtel X Labs as an Associate Data Scientist (Trainee) where she aimed to increase profits by leveraging customer data through customer segmentation and generating attributes to define the employment-type of the user. Akarsha's academic background is rooted in research. During her studies, she explored multiple interests including development and entrepreneurship, but spent most of her time and energy on research. She worked as an Undergrad researcher under Dr. Richa and Dr. Mayank on Attribute classification and Morphing using GANs. Her state-of-the-art results were published in a couple of research papers and she received the "Dean's Award for Innovation in Research and Development" for her work. Akarsha's technical skills include expertise in research, data science, computer vision, Databricks, CI/CD, and recommendation systems. She is skilled in developing performance and resource optimized models to deploy on the edge, automating and optimizing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines on cloud, and running and maintaining jobs on Databricks. Akarsha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from IIIT Delhi and completed her high school education from Delhi Public School, Dwarka.
