Akash Agarwal is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He has worked on several projects, including the Notification Service, which handles all email, WhatsApp, SMS, and OTP communications centrally, and Finacko, which automates Financial Insurance reporting. Akash's role involves developing applications and services from scratch and adding alerting and monitoring for the services. Before joining Acko, Akash worked as a Software Engineer at Walmart, where he was part of the Walmart Cloud Platform team responsible for defining the SOA paradigm and implementing solutions for a scalable, high-performance e-Commerce platform. He worked on developing a High Throughput API Gateway with Policy enforcement and Authentication/authorization mechanisms, which handled ~20k requests per minute for one of the largest e-commerce websites. Akash's role included taking the product/components through the entire life cycle from requirement analysis to delivery, development of new features, and maintenance of existing features. Akash holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT). He also completed his High School education in Science from Ch. Chhabil Dass Public School and Vaish Model Sr. Sec. School. His technical skills include Software Engineering, and he has a deep understanding of various programming languages and tools.
