He has worked on several interesting features independently, including the ability to schedule rides, launching new service types, and EContract, which was a legal requirement for launching GoCar in Vietnam. In his current role, Akash is part of the Driver Platform team, which aims to create and improve income for drivers while providing the best experience to them. He is responsible for ensuring that any new vehicle or service can be launched without app release of the partner app, which is a critical aspect of the business. Prior to joining Gojek, Akash worked as a Software Engineer, where he played a key role in launching new service types such as GoTaxi in Singapore and GoCar in Vietnam. He also worked on Express++, a feature that aimed to remove service type hardcodings from the app, making it easier to launch new vehicles on the Gojek customer app. Akash holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
