Akash Bajpai is a young and enthusiastic Indian mind with a passion for improving existing systems and working with upcoming future technologies. With over 2 years of experience in extended reality, he has been developing solutions for the real world and creating eye-catching experiences in augmented reality, virtual reality, and projection mapping. As the AR/VR lead at INNOGEEKS student club, Akash has been training students on these technologies, from the basics to participating in hackathons and developing their own XR experiences. He conducts daily classes to teach fresher students about various technologies and creates an environment where inter-domain projects can be developed. In addition to his work in IT, Akash is also a part of the SPIC MACAY society, which organizes Indian cultural events across India. As part of the SPIC MACAY KIET CHAPTER, he was responsible for organizing cultural events, contacting artists, and coordinating with college management for overall management. Currently, Akash works as a mentor at eduthon-iiit Lucknow. Previously, he has worked with Snapchat, where he secured the 2nd position in the Snapchat Lensathon, and with Lowe's India, where he was the team leader of the winning team at Lowe's Campus Hackathon. His team worked for a month-long period, and their solution was periodically reviewed by mentors and eventually turned into a real solution. They won a prize of 3,00,000 Rs. for the team. Akash holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology, where he graduated in 2021. He also completed his intermediate education from Sacred Heart Inter College in 2017. With 4.76 years of relevant experience, Akash is a talented XR enthusiast with a passion for innovation and a drive to make a difference in the IT world.
