Akash Chowdhary is an Associate Product Manager at Fitterfly with a passion for digital health, entrepreneurship, product management, and 0-1 roles. He has 2.35 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry, having worked as a Software Engineer at Cerner, where he ideated and designed an internal search engine and built an application to fetch SNOMED data from GUDID REST API. Akash recently completed his post-graduation in AI/ML and entrepreneurship with courses on design thinking and human-centered design from Plaksha University. At Plaksha and GSF Accelerator, he worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence where he experimented with four ideas and designed the business model including GTM and customer segmentation after doing customer interviews, competitor analysis, and rapid prototyping. Akash's past experience includes working at GSF Accelerator, where he conducted market research on health tech in India covering chronic care, health financing, and national health stack (ABDM). He evaluated 40+ health-tech startups for investments, conducted interviews of founders, and evaluated their business models. He also invalidated a startup idea for student wellbeing on campus called edu.care. Akash's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from SRM University and a Tech Leaders Fellowship in AI/ML and Entrepreneurship from Plaksha University. He also has a Computer Science degree from Delhi Public School. Akash's tech stack includes product management, backend, research scientist, AI, ML, software engineering, and search. At Fitterfly, he is the product owner for analytics and user research. Akash is a highly motivated individual with a drive to succeed in the digital health industry and is always looking for new challenges to take on.
