Akash Gupta is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and Node.js. He has worked with several frameworks such as Spring Boot, jooq, Spring JDBC, Thymeleaf, Flying Saucer, and JWT. Akash has also worked with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and Sybase, as well as storage systems such as MinIO and AWS S3. He is also knowledgeable in Blockchain technology, specifically Hyperledger Fabric. Currently, Akash is a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. In this role, he has conducted extensive research on EMR Implementation in Indian Healthcare and formulated a study on Zydus Hospital, Ahmedabad. He has successfully identified research gaps and analyzed the difference between actual and perceived barriers as well as success factors. Akash has also strategized various solutions beneficial for Zydus to solve the difficulties and issues with its HIMS-EMR system. Prior to his current role, Akash worked as a Systems Engineer Trainee at Infosys where he developed a product recommendation system for an e-commerce client. He has also worked on piloting patient recruitment for clinical trials in India through digital media. This project aimed to reduce costs and enrollment delays and change the recruitment scenario in India. Akash holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, and completed his high school education at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kolkata. He has a strong DevOps background and is proficient in Docker. Akash has relevant experience of 5.11 years and possesses a diverse tech stack that includes AWS, Javascript, Spring, MySQL, NodeJS, and Backend development.
