Akash Laddha is a Lead Software Engineer at Kyvos Insights with over 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Data and Cloud Analytics. He has expertise in ETL, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, SQL, Python, Tableau, CICD, Cloud services in AWS and Azure, and creating E2E Automation and migration utilities using Python, Airflow, GIT, Jenkins, and REST API. Akash is also building his own Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and IoT device “Aryan and Arya” using Python, NLP, and Raspberry Pi. He is a certified MSFT Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, MSFT Power Platforms, Astronomer Apache Airflow, and a PAHM designated professional. In his current role at Kyvos Insights, Akash has led multiple teams to deliver E2E analytics solutions leveraging storage, auto-scaling & compute capabilities of Cloud using services like Databricks, AWS (S3, EC2, EMR, Glue), Azure (ADLS, Delta lake, AzureAD, Scalesets, VM). He has also led solution design, critical POC’s and implementations for customers like UBS, Starbucks, JPMC, Charter, Chewy, Global Payment, etc. leveraging on-premise Hadoop and cloud services on Azure, AWS, and GCP. Akash has designed OLAP cubes for various customers with complex data modeling, hierarchies, dimensions, and metrics using MOLAP aggregation concepts on the product – Kyvos. He has built and maintained data and workflow pipelines using Python, SQL, and Product API’s for data analysis. Akash has optimized build time by analyzing and fine-tuning the Spark aggregation jobs, complex SQL query analysis, and performance tuning, identifying cluster configurations across 100-200 AWS/Azure nodes for optimal utilization of resources and max parallel loads. Akash has partnered with cross-functional teams like Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Support, and Business to drive successful project delivery and resolve dependencies and conflicts. He has helped with the integration of analytics solutions with various BI tools like Tableau, MSTR, Power BI, Excel, etc. Akash has also automated CI/CD pipelines for Kyvos using GIT and Jenkins, Airflow operators for automated build pipelines/workflows, and written several utilities to query/modify/build/check/migrate
