Akash Pal is a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech India with over 7 years of experience in the field. He has a strong background in front-end development and has developed multiple enterprise mobile applications throughout his career. Currently, he is working in the retail domain and has collaborated across cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. Prior to Walmart, Akash worked as a Software Developer at Amdocs where he developed retail application templates on the content management system using React.js and Redux. He also worked on performance tool integration and improvement of the retail and self-service application, focusing on web accessibility. He collaborated with the customer on site during business UAT and production to fix 100+ defects. He also worked on an Orange Spain project for a Nodejs simulator for the retail application. Before joining Amdocs, Akash worked as a Software Engineer at Zensar where he designed and developed ZenHelp, an HR app for the organization with Ionic and Angular. He also developed and maintained Zenverse, an interaction platform for the employees with the CEO single-handedly using Ionic and Angular. He developed a ChatBot (ZenPal) for the organization using Dialog Flow and integrated the in-house services. Akash holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology. He also completed his Higher Secondary education in Science from Kohima Science College and his High School education from Alderville School in Kohima, Nagaland.
