Akash Poudel is a sophomore student of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has a keen interest in Web and Network Security and is an avid Linux enthusiast and FOSS lover. Akash loves programming in C++, Python, and is also exploring modern languages like Rust and Golang. Currently, Akash is working as an OWASP Student Chapter Leader at NIT Rourkela, where he is responsible for organizing cybersecurity events and leading the cybersecurity community. He is also the acting President for Achilles, the cybersecurity club of NIT Rourkela, where he manages the club's activities and leads a team of cybersecurity enthusiasts. Akash has experience working in the Hackathon industry, where he was part of the sponsorship team for hacknitr hackathon. He is currently working as a Public Relations Officer for the same organization. Akash has completed his 11-12 education in Physics, Chemistry, Maths from Aroma Higher Secondary School. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from NIT Rourkela, which he will complete in 2024. Akash has a strong tech stack that includes Web, Software Engineering, Python, and Golang. He is looking for opportunities in the field of security as well as software development.
