Akash Raj is a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at PayU as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where he is responsible for implementing and managing various DevOps tools and methodologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Bash, among others. Akash is a passionate and innovative professional who is always on the lookout for the latest tools and techniques to improve processes through automation, testing, and education. He has a proven track record of successfully setting up CICD using Git CI and Jenkins, configuring Nagios monitoring tools to monitor DB and web servers, and implementing AWS cloud platform and its features, including EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Autos calling, Cloud Front, IAM, S3, R53. Akash has hands-on experience in Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling, and management of Docker containers. He actively manages, improves, and monitors cloud infrastructure on AWS, EC2, S3, and RDS, including backups, patches, and scaling. He has also worked on Bash scripting and has a basic understanding of MySQL administration. Before joining PayU, Akash worked as a Scada Engineer(Network & Security) at General Electric and as a Customer Support Engineer (IT support) at PC Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from PTU and completed his schooling from Guru Nanak Hr. Sec. School, Jharkhand. Akash's technical expertise includes DevOps, AWS, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, MySQL, Azure, Docker, Web, infra, and test.
