Akash Upadhyay is a talented and experienced Product Designer and UX Designer with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. With a background in IT engineering, Akash has worked as a UI Developer and is currently an Associate Consultant (Financial Services) in Experience Design (UX/UI) at Capgemini in Pune, India. Motivated by his love for experimentation and collaboration with users, designers, developers, and business stakeholders, Akash transitioned to UX design from UI development. He believes that the definition of design is "Design Connects Every User" and strives to create usable, functional, and delightful products that connect with users on a deep level. In addition to his professional work, Akash is a content creator and shares his knowledge on Instagram (@designer.akash). He is also an artist who loves to draw ink sketches and sing, and has started taking cycling professionally. Akash hosted 40+ designers around the globe for "Text-Based 8Q's Podcast Series Designerstalk-Bridge the gap" and is writing his first eBook while continuing to learn and practice. Akash has a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Kurukshetra University and a Nanodegree in User Experience from Udacity. He is also a member of The Interaction Design Foundation. With 2.28 years of relevant experience, Akash has worked as a Senior Software Analyst and Software Analyst at Capgemini in the past. He was recognized as a "2021 Top Performer" at Capgemini FS for his exceptional work in creating experiences for B2B products in the financial services domain. Akash is a highly motivated and skilled designer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. He is always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and connect with other designers and professionals in the industry.
