Akhil Kumar Gupta is a seasoned Software Engineer currently working at IBM India Software Labs. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he is well-versed in various domains and has a deep understanding of Data Governance. He is skilled in Data Structure Algorithms, Distributed System, and Microservices Architecture Design. Akhil is proficient in Object-Oriented Patterns, Application Architecture, Microservices, Resilience, and Performant Architecture. He has expertise in Kafka Streams and Event-Driven Architecture using Apache Flink. He is also familiar with various technologies and tools such as Java, Spring, Security Concepts, Maven, Microservices, Rest Services, Docker, AWS EC2 and Lambda, and CICD Pipeline. Currently, Akhil is working on a suite of products, a data integration platform, that deals with data governance with a centralized Metadata Repository. He is responsible for the Services tier used to unify Metadata for other logical tiers of the Suite comprising of different products. In the past, Akhil has worked at ADP as a Consultant, where he worked on the re-architecture of the HCM product using Spring Security and JavaScript. He is also proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using GoF Design Pattern. He has also worked at Pramati Technologies as a Senior Development Engineer, where he developed web applications using cutting-edge technology stack-based products. Akhil holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Silchar. He is a tech enthusiast and has a keen interest in Software Engineering, Microservices, Spring, Kafka, Java, Golang, AWS, Integration, Docker, and Web.
