Akhil Boddu is a Full Stack Developer, Ed-Tech Entrepreneur, and Content Curator with a strong background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Web Development, Management, and Leadership. As a Co-Founder with extensive experience in the e-learning industry, he has demonstrated his ability to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve user experience. Currently serving as the Google DSC Co-Lead at developer student clubs, Akhil has helped set up DSC in South Africa and played a pivotal role in organizing events and workshops at UCT. He has also worked as a Full Stack Coding TA at ixperience, where he delivered curated content to students in full-stack development and taught AngularJS, Ionic, NodeJS & MySQL. In addition, he served as the tech lead for two teams building products for Picup & Nourish'd, South African-based companies. Akhil's past experience also includes working as the Next Gen Innovation Labs Co-ordinator at SAP, where he collaborated with the Information Systems department at UCT to enable students to engage with technologies such as a 3D printer, Virtual Reality using Oculus Rift & Alexa, etc. SAP sponsors the innovation labs and enables students to start initiatives that use modern technologies to create impact. Akhil holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems & Games Development, and an Honors in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town. He also completed his High School education at Premier Academy. Akhil's technical skills include Web Development, MySQL, Senior Software Engineering, NodeJS, and AngularJS. With 3.51 years of relevant experience, he is a highly motivated and skilled professional who is passionate about developing innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve user experience.
