Akhil Sharma is an experienced Control Engineer with a strong background in Automotive Engineering. He has gained knowledge and worked in various domains, including E-power-train controls, Vehicle dynamics, and ADAS. His key skills include Model Based Development, Multi Body dynamics, Reinforcement learning, and Programming. Akhil is currently working as a Control Engineer at Flux Auto, where he is implementing Machine Learning in Power train controls. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at KPIT, where he worked in the Advanced Controls domain for Electric and Hybrid Powertrain. He was responsible for Model based development of HEV systems, Control Logic analysis for an Electric/Hybrid vehicle, Electric Powertrain Optimization, and Machine learning/Reinforcement learning application for controls development. Before KPIT, Akhil worked as a Research Assistant at ARAI, where he worked on EPAS Control Strategy with combined functions of Automated Drivers Assisted Systems (ADAS). He was responsible for Model based design of Electric power Steering, Control Logic testing, ADAS-lane Keep Assist feature integration, and assisting the team in HIL testing. Akhil has a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from VIT and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from RAJ KUMAR GOEL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, GHAZIABAD. He also has a Higher secondary degree in science and a High school degree in Science. Akhil's tech stack includes Reinforcement Learning, ML, Software Engineering, Test, Research Scientist, and Integration. He has relevant experience of 3.27 years and is passionate about developing innovative solutions in the field of Automotive Engineering.
