Akhil Sundar is a dynamic and driven individual with over 6 years of experience in sales and marketing. Currently, he is a Senior Manager of Business Development at Flipkart Internet Private Limited, where he manages key accounts. He is excited to be making his first venture into e-commerce and is eager to learn and grow in this new field. Akhil's previous experience includes working as an Area Sales Manager at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, where he was based out of Cochin. He considers this his real adventure in the FMCG space, where he learned a lot and had the opportunity to build some wonderful things with his team. He also worked as an Area Sales Manager at United Breweries Limited, where he was responsible for sales of the UB portfolio in Central Uttar Pradesh. He started as a Management Trainee in the organization and was exposed to various functions of sales and marketing across various regions in the country. Akhil has a PGDM in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VIT University, Vellore. Prior to joining college, he worked in Accenture Services Ltd. as a Software Engineer Analyst for 22 months, where his key responsibilities involved web development, unit testing, bug fixing, and data research. Akhil is a well-rounded individual and has been associated with sports throughout his life. He has been a member of various football teams at college, work, and postgraduate level, and has also captained his school handball and athletics team. At IMT, he is a member of the football team and also the captain of the junior football team. Akhil is deeply indebted to each and every individual and organization he has worked with, and he believes that each role has molded him into the person he is today. He is here to have fun and learn a lot during his time at each role, and he is excited to see where his career takes him next.
