Akhilesh Betanamudi is an experienced engineer and co-founder of SmartReach.io, a software services provider for startups and global enterprises. With over 10 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, Akhilesh has worked on a diverse range of projects that required in-depth knowledge of both hardware and software. During his time at Samsung Electronics, Akhilesh assumed ownership of several projects and successfully delivered them in various fields, including memory controllers, digital video broadcasting, video post-processing, graphic accelerators, and codecs. He was also responsible for developing a new age Solid State Drive (SSD) controller from scratch, which involved managing, designing, and developing a new architecture for memory controllers. Through this architecture, Akhilesh achieved very high data throughput, opening up new avenues for the company. Additionally, he and his team designed and implemented a new SSD with a unique concept of operating through a DIMM slot. Akhilesh was also part of the team responsible for developing several IPs in various domains like display enhancement and Digital Video Broadcasting (channel) at Samsung. He realized a display-enhancing algorithm that works in real-time and converts a particular frame into various parameters through several statistical processes. This information about pixels is then used to deliver sharper pictures. He was able to realize this IP in less than 50% of the resources mandated for the team through several optimizations. He also developed a sub-module that is part of the demodulation chain that decodes the broadcasted data and converts it into a form that can be displayed. Akhilesh is an open-minded person who believes in "never giving up" and always loves a new challenge. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT. He also completed his intermediate education from SRM Junior College and his primary and secondary education from Brilliant Grammar High School and Mother Teresa Grammar High School, respectively.
