Akshansh Chahal is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a passion for Machine Learning and Core Infrastructure. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and completed his Bachelor's in Computer Science at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Akshansh has gained valuable experience in the field of Data Science, having worked as a Data Science Intern at Experian Datalabs. During his time there, he applied Semi-Unsupervised Learning techniques using Variational Autoencoder to solve the fraud detection problem. He also built an end-to-end pipeline to apply the algorithm on a different problem and visualize the results. Akshansh's work led to a benchmark AUC of 0.91 (ROC Curve) of the XGBoost Model using the Supervised VAE algorithm.
