Akshar Pathak is an experienced Art Director with over 10 years of expertise in creating design artefacts at different stages of the product development cycle. He is a strong advocate for the end user, always pushing for and thinking about the most meaningful user experience possible. Akshar is currently working at Zomato, where he designs new marketing concepts from scratch, designs layouts and graphics for Zomato.com, mobile products, and other web products. He is also responsible for quarterly BTL & Digital campaign planning and execution with a focus on low-cost innovation. Akshar has a track record of creating high conversion banner advertisements for Zomato's clients and developing a deep understanding of Zomato's users, their needs, and creating useful product experiences that address those needs. He manages the cross-functional execution of the product roadmap working closely with design, engineering, operations, and business teams. Akshar is also involved in designing metrics and tracking them to manage campaigns and initiatives, and doing hands-on day-to-day marketing operations, including merchandise selection, vendor identification & negotiation, and order placing. Prior to working at Zomato, Akshar worked as a Designer at Cocoon Design and Strategy, where he was responsible for creating identity (logos and branding), advertisements, and product packaging. He also created, planned, and managed branding strategies. Akshar has also worked as a Creative Producer at Comic Con India, where he worked for the first comic-based convention to be held in India. Akshar holds a B.Des degree in Fashion & Lifestyle Accessory from NIFT, where he studied from 2007 to 2011. He also completed his 10+2 education in PCM + Economics from Gyan Bharati School in 1995. Akshar's tech stack includes designer skills, and he has relevant experience of 11.43 years.
