Akshat Agarwal is a Tech Lead Manager at Nuro, where he works on perception. He is part of a team that is building robots that can deliver items to people's homes. Akshat's team uses machine learning, specifically computer vision and sequence modeling, to perform object tracking and attribute classification. He has been with Nuro for some time now, previously working as a Machine Learning Engineer. Akshat has an impressive educational background, having completed his Masters in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. During his time there, he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, where he researched multi-agent reinforcement learning with Professor Katia Sycara.
