Akshat Govil is a highly skilled and experienced Member of Technical Staff at VMware. He has a diverse range of experience in the tech industry, having worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon and a Research and Development Intern at VMware. During his time at Amazon, Akshat designed an algorithm to identify potentially abusive customer behavior using graph structures and GNN models. He also deployed a web page using Python, StreamLit, and Graphs. At VMware, Akshat developed prototypes for page table replication in the ESXi kernel, mitigating NUMA effects on page-table walks by transparently replicating and migrating page-tables across sockets. He worked closely with kernel programs, integrating the developed code into the existing one for testing purposes. Akshat's technical skills include software engineering, research science, Python, web development, and testing. He is a highly capable problem solver, able to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Akshat's education includes a B.E. in Computer Science and MSc in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he graduated in 2021.
