Akshat Gupta is an undergraduate at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and pursuing a minor degree in Management. With a passion for technology, he has gained proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, allowing him to build interesting projects like an AR sudoku solver, path-finding algorithm visualizer, and lasso game. He is also enthusiastic about autonomous vehicles and is currently working as a motion planning engineer for Team SeDriCa at IIT Bombay, with the goal of achieving level 5 autonomy. Aside from his interest in technology, Akshat has discovered a newfound interest in finance and management after completing the Accounting and Finance course as part of his minor degree. He is eager to gain experience in these fields and has started to develop relevant skills in his free time. Currently working as a Teaching Assistant for PH107 at IIT Bombay, Akshat has created detailed weekly solutions of tutorial problems for the quantum mechanics course, solved queries throughout the semester, and conducted extra doubt-solving sessions for students facing specific difficulties. He has also assisted in conducting and checking weekly quizzes and the main exams for the entire course duration. Akshat has previously interned at Siemens, where he was deputed to various departments and successfully completed technical training on machine maintenance, advanced motor test field operations, transformer manufacturing process and testing, electrical panel assembly and testing, switchgear components assembly and testing, quality control and life testing related to finish components at R&D, operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, O&M for 220KVA substation, compressed air system, fire hydrant system, STP, and domestic water system. He has also worked as a web developer at Radiance, where he was part of a four-member team responsible for revamping the company's website and tasked with developing an SEO-optimized website from scratch and implementing new functionalities. Akshat's education history includes a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, Pace Junior Science College, St. Gregorios High School, and Lokhandwala Foundation School. He is proficient in test, Python, web, and JavaScript technologies and has 0.26 years of relevant experience.
