Akshat Jain is a skilled Full Stack Developer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of software development, building mobile and web applications. He is passionate about adapting to the culture and environment of an organization that can provide him with a platform for developing his knowledge and skills into real-life applications. Currently, Akshat is working as a Web Application Developer (Co-op) at Celayix Software. In this role, he has built many new features for web applications of the company, using ReactJS, Redux, Node.js, Java, and Amazon Web Services, resulting in stabilizing and improving the applications. He has also made significant contributions towards designing the new notification engine using one of the recently launched services of Amazon, AWS Fargate to make the engine scalable. Additionally, he has designed the front-end of the notification settings page to enable users to select their own notification settings, adding a lot of flexibility to the application. At present, he is working on a facial recognition feature using ReactJS and Flux to design the front-end and AWS Rekognition service to validate the image and do face matching. Prior to this, Akshat worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at TCS, where he was part of the development team of Ultimatix project, an inhouse web portal accessible to all TCS employees and used for various applications like filling timesheets, applying leaves, etc. He interpreted user requirements and gathered specifications from UX designers to develop both web and mobile applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, Java, JDBC template, Spring MVC, and Android, resulting in better management of client visits and employee accounts. He also followed agile methodology by successfully completing sprints to build the applications and gained significant professional experience. Akshat holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia. He is also skilled in various technologies such as Web, AWS, Mobile, Frontend, Javascript, test, ReactJS, Redux, Software Engineer, Java, Spring, and Android.
