Akshat Jain is a highly motivated and driven individual who is currently exploring the world of data science and machine learning. As a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, he has gained valuable experience in the field of software engineering, ML, and data science. During his time as a Technical Undergraduate Intern at Oracle, Akshat worked on improving results using Time Series Prediction and Clustering. He used K-Means clustering with Dynamic Time Wrapping for clustering purposes as the data was time series. For prediction purposes, he tried ARIMA, Holt's Linear prediction, Moving Average, and Auto-regressive models and compared their results. He also improved the efficiency of the code base and fixed bugs. In addition to his work at Oracle, Akshat has also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Academic Reinforcement Program at IIT Roorkee. Akshat holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from IIT. He also has a Senior Secondary degree from Mother Khazani Convent School in India and a Secondary degree from Indus Public School in India. Akshat is skilled in software engineering, machine learning, and data science. He is a quick learner and has a passion for solving complex problems. With 0.35 years of relevant experience, he is eager to continue his exploration of the world of data science and machine learning.
