Akshat Khanna is a passionate Software Engineer and experienced Developer with a keen interest in Multi-cloud Orchestration, Edge computing, Full-stack development, and DevOps. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at VMware, where he is building Kubernetes for Edge. Akshat is an active open-source contributor and has contributed to upstream open-source Kubernetes and other Kubernetes SIG projects. He has been very active in CNCF and Kubernetes community and has spoken at many community tech events like Kubernetes Community Days Bengaluru 2022, Kubernetes Community Days Chennai 2022, and Container Days at Hamburg, Germany. Prior to joining VMware, Akshat worked with PayU Payments as a Software Engineer Intern. He has participated in 50+ Hackathons and competitive programming challenges, with multiple top performances. Akshat's technical skills include Go, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Kubernetes, Docker, Containerd, Prometheus, Django, Django REST, Node JS, React JS, Flask, Data Structures, Algorithms, System Design, Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, Bash, Docker, Git, BitBucket, and Cloud Functions. Akshat holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Cyber Security from SRM Institute of Science and Technology. He also completed his High School education from Delhi Public School, Udaipur. Akshat has 1.19 years of relevant experience in his field and is always looking for new challenges to improve his skills and knowledge.
