Akshatha Rao is an experienced member of technical staff with over 8 years of IT experience. She has worked as a web developer for 4 years and as a Java developer for another 4 years. Her exposure to technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, MYSQL, Java, Oracle, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, SOA has helped her to develop a diverse skill set. Additionally, she has worked on technologies on BIG Data Platform such as Hadoop, PIG, and HIVE. Currently, Akshatha is working as a Member of Technical Staff 2 at VMware. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications and ensuring that they meet the company's standards and requirements. She has also worked at Cognizant as an Associate, where she was responsible for the end product needed by the client. Akshatha holds a Master's degree in System Software from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University. She completed her SSLC from Webster's High School. As a software engineer, Akshatha has a diverse skill set that includes Java, web development, Big Data, PHP, MySQL, Hadoop, Spring, and Apache Hive.
