Akshay Gaykar is an experienced Technical Architect and Backend Developer with a passion for technology. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in software engineering, AWS, NodeJS, Javascript, MongoDB, GCP, microservices, web, test, integration, and mobile. He is currently working as an SDE II at fynd, where he is responsible for creating the backend for a BNPL application, developing multiple microservices for internal and external communications, and designing customized solution proposals to potential customers. He also discusses issues with team members to provide resolution and apply best practices, and plans and develops interfaces that simplify overall management and offer ease of use. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at fictiv, Akshay was a founding member of the India expansion team. He was responsible for understanding system architecture and training the team, and guided and influenced the existing system on recommended upgrades and enhancements to integrated solutions. As a Technical Architect at dxminds innovation labs pvt ltd, he determined organization needs and identified system specifications, chose suitable software, hardware, and suggested integration methods, oversaw development and implementation of assigned programs, and communicated the best products and systems to clients. Akshay holds a degree in Computer Engineering from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar, and a diploma in Information Technology from V.V.P Polytechnic Loni.
