Akshay Jain is a final year computer science undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati. With over 3 years of experience as a MERN stack developer, he is currently seeking part-time opportunities as a Software Developer. At present, Akshay is working as a Software Engineer at Breakout, where he has been responsible for building REST APIs for various microservices within the organization. He has also optimized existing APIs by performing MongoDB query optimization and caching the results using Redis. Additionally, he has written scripts that were executed in parallel across multiple servers and ensured data consistency by applying locks on Redis keys. Prior to his current role, Akshay worked as a Backend Intern at Breakout and as a Backend Developer at Mobbypark. During his time at Mobbypark, he built REST APIs for the enterprise that were deployed into production and used by Android Application developers in the company's application. He also tested and documented all the APIs in the company's application backend. Akshay's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from iiit, with an expected graduation date of January 2022.
