Akshay Jagtap is a Senior Software Development Engineer Test at Akamai Technologies, with a passion for software testing and automation. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has honed his skills in developing automation frameworks and utilities that facilitate functional testing. At Akamai, Akshay works on a wide range of testing, including feature/unit testing development, developing automated capacity and benchmark test framework of HTTP-based servers, managing automated test suites, running regressions, and working on releases and new features. He primarily uses Python programming language, and his team follows Agile SDLC methodology. Prior to his current role, Akshay worked as a Software QA Intern at Whitehat Security and as a Research Assistant at San Jose State University. He holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Akshay's tech stack includes test, software engineering, QA, Python, and research scientist.
