Akshay Jain is a Lead Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in enterprise application development using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring REST, and Spring Cloud. He has extensive knowledge of microservice architecture, API gateways, and load balancing deployments. Akshay has hands-on expertise in object-relational mapping frameworks such as JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA. He is proficient in authentication, authorization, and federation, and has good hands-on experience with SSO protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect. Akshay also has excellent knowledge of PKI security (SSL certificates, symmetric and asymmetric encryption). Akshay has worked on various projects in the automotive industry, including the Smart Automotive Solutions project for General Motors (GM). His contribution to this project involved collecting data from various source systems, transforming and processing it to bring it into a uniform format, and publishing it to a central place for decision-making systems. He has used technologies such as gRPC, Apache Kafka, Akka Streams, Alpakka, Kubernetes, Java 11, Azure, Event Hub, Cloud Events, Junit, and TFS. Akshay has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at eQ Technologic, where he implemented features and bug-fixing and delivered solutions in accordance with coding guidelines and on-time with high quality. He ensured single sign-on authentication and authorization of all eQ Technologic products. He has also worked as a Software Engineer at Whitehedge Technologies, where he was involved in various phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) such as requirement gathering, design, development, and basic testing. He implemented MVC architecture using the Spring framework and worked on different components of an application such as login module, analytics module, chat module, reporting module, and search engine. Akshay has a Master of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from VIT and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering. He also has a background in science, having completed his HSC and SSC from Jain Fattechand College and Jain Fattechand Vidyalaya, respectively.
