Akshay is a Lead Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Maersk, where he has led the migration of legacy ASP webforms to ASP .NET Core Microservice Architecture and built/migrated Kubernetes applications for all four existing Microservice APP. He has also enhanced the performance of EF Core Module wrapper and led a team of developers to complete three projects in the span of four months, including signoffs for production readiness. Prior to Maersk, Akshay worked at JP Morgan as an Associate, where he performed similar roles, including leading the migration of legacy ASP webforms to ASP .NET Core Microservice Architecture, building/migrating Kubernetes applications for all four existing Microservice APP, and enhancing the performance of EF Core Module wrapper. He also led a team of developers to complete three projects in the span of four months, including signoffs for production readiness. Akshay has also worked at Optum as a Senior Software Engineer, where he led a team of developers to bring cutting-edge features to Optum Impact Pro Product Suites. He developed/enhanced project modules irrespective of tech stacks and initiated cloud integration suites and framework for Impact Pro Product. He also built a dashboard EPIC integration with two to three new joiners and delivered the entire EPIC in a single quarter. Akshay has a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and a Plus Two in Computer Science Engineering from St. Antony's H.S.S Pudukad. He also has an SSLC in SSLC from Holy Cross High School Mapranam. Akshay's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering, Software Engineering, Integration, Kubernetes, Microservices, CI/CD, dotNET, ASP.NET, Jenkins, Salesforce, Azure, and Web.
